Privacy Policy

GREYN does not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no server and no analytics. Everything the app does happens on your device.
Who we are
GREYN is a photo and video editing app for iPhone, developed by Tankutay Doğu Öksüz, an individual developer based in Türkiye. You can reach us at info@greynapp.com.
Data we collect
None. Specifically, GREYN does not collect any of the following:
- Name, email address, phone number or any other contact information.
- Account credentials — the app has no accounts and no login screen.
- Your photos, videos or any content derived from them.
- Location data. GREYN does not request location access and does not read the location stored inside a photo's metadata.
- Device identifiers, advertising identifiers or the IDFA.
- Usage analytics, crash reports, heatmaps or session recordings.
- Contacts, calendar, health, financial or browsing data.
Because we collect nothing, there is no personal data for us to store, share, sell, or delete on request, and there is nothing that could be exposed in a data breach on our side.
Your photos and videos
When you pick a photo or a video, iOS hands GREYN a copy of that single item. The app reads it into memory, applies the look you chose, and shows you the result. Nothing is uploaded. There is no network code in the editing path at all.
When you tap Save, the edited copy is written back to your own photo library. It is a new item; your original is never modified, moved or deleted. Temporary working files created during an export are deleted as soon as the save finishes.
Permissions the app asks for
- Photo library access — used only to let you choose the photo or video you want to edit. GREYN does not browse, index or scan the rest of your library.
- Add-only photo library access — used only to write the finished result back to your library. This permission cannot read or delete anything.
You can withdraw either permission at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos. GREYN will simply stop being able to open or save media.
Third parties
GREYN contains no third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, attribution or crash reporting. No third party receives anything from the app.
If GREYN offers a paid upgrade, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children
GREYN is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13. It contains no advertising, no chat, no user-generated content feed and no external links other than the ones on this page.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR, the CCPA and Türkiye's KVKK give you the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data. GREYN holds none, so there is nothing to act on. If you would like written confirmation of that, email info@greynapp.com and we will send it.
To remove everything the app holds on your device, delete the app. iOS removes its files with it.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of GREYN ever changes what it does with data, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change. We will not start collecting data quietly.
